The “Future Pros” of golf in Ghana flashed at Achimota Golf course over the weekend; almost thirty boys and girls with some as young as 5 years old took to the course.
Those who were playing for the first time, participated in a putting competition.
The Junior Youth Golf Tournament was hosted by Mr. Kwesi Amoafo-Yeboah, who ensured every participant left with something in recognition of their efforts on the day.
Also on board to show support was the President of the Ghana Professional Golfers Association, Mr. Tony Kwame Mintah.
After many fantastic swings and beautiful putts all participants received certificates and special prizes were awarded to the winners in the following categories; 5&6yrs / 7&9yrs / 10-11yrs / 9-holes.
