The maiden Johnnie Walker Annual Ghana Golf Championship wasn’t just about who walked away with the trophy — it was about walking boldly through a two-day celebration of sport, sophistication, and spirited camaraderie.

Held at the prestigious Achimota Golf Club, the event teed off with precision and passion as Ghana’s finest golfers competed in Categories A and B for both men and ladies, as well as seniors, with fierce swings and friendly rivalries lighting up the fairways.

From Philip Ayesu dominating Men’s Category A to Letitia Amponsah Mensah clinching top honors among the ladies, the leaderboard was stacked with stellar performances. Notable mentions also go to Mike Aggrey and Mona Myers-Lamptey, who topped the Seniors division, and Joshua Mensah-Larkai and Princess Nkansah-Boadu, who earned the title of Most Promising Player in their respective categories.

The Longest Drive title was powered home by Mariatu Bah for the ladies and Godwin Asamannaba for the men, proving distance still dazzles. Meanwhile, pin-seeking accuracy earned Joshua Mensah-Larkai and Kous Louanges Mang the Nearest to the Pin awards, demonstrating precision under pressure.

But golf was just the beginning.

As the sun dipped below the greens, the celebration shifted gears into the luxurious Mirrorball Experience — an unforgettable evening blending curated conversations, live music, mixology magic, and immersive encounters with the world of Johnnie Walker Blue Label. Think jazz, elegance, clinking glasses, and power networking under the stars.

Guests, from CEOs to creatives, shared toasts and stories, savoring every sip and swing of the experience. It wasn’t just a golf championship. It was a statement of style, culture, and community — wrapped in the bold, smooth signature of Johnnie Walker.
