Constance Awuni has won the second qualifier of the second edition of the Heritage World Cup Finals in Ghana at the Royal Golf Club in Kumasi.
Constance stayed ahead in the Ladies Group after returning net scores of 72 apiece over the two day-campaign.
In the process, Constance Awuni surged ahead to emerge as the overall winner in the competition after delivering 36 Stableford points both on day one and day two.
The catch-me-if-you-can lady golfer in Ghana also received a prize for the Closest to the Pin in the Ladies Group.
Also in the overall competition, Bismark Ntiedu Dapaah followed in the second position after finishing with 39 and 33 Stableford points over the two days.
Kwaku AsareOfosuhene, on the other hand, shot total Stableford points of 68; 31, and 37 respectively to end his campaign in the third spot. Kwaku also won the prize for the Longest Drive.
Constance Awuni continues to stay in the winning ways, especially at major events. During the recent Vodafone Asantehene Golf Open, she capped her fifth win in the Women’s Championship.
14-year old Michael Nyarko who won the first qualifier event at the Celebrity Golf Club in Sakumono. The Achimota Golf Club will host the remaining southern qualifier from April 30 to May 1, 2022.
The Heritage World Cup event will take place from July 4 to 9, 2022, in Mauritius where the two representatives from Ghana will join other competitors from 30 other countries to play for the ultimate trophy.
