As part of activities lined up for the commencement of the Open African MiniGolf Championships 2018, the foundation of the MiniGolf Kidz represented by its ambassador Mrs. Alice Kobisc has launched a completed borehole project at Ofankor township in the Greater Accra region.
The project was financed by the foundation.
The colorful occasion, saw in attendance chiefs and people of Ofankor as well as leaderships of the World MiniGolf Federation, Ghana MiniGolf Federation, the media among many other stakeholders.
The chiefs of the Ofankor township were full of praise to the foundation for providing a borehole to the Ofankor township and expressed the hope that it will be used for the purpose which it was built for.
They further noted that, the timing of the project was crucial as the need for constant water supply is very supreme to the wellbeing of the town folks.
On her part, the ambassador of the MiniGolf Kidz foundation, Mrs. Alice Kobisc, thanked the chiefs and the people of Ofankor for the warm reception that they accorded herself and the group. She noted that the dedication of the borehole will begin a great partnership between the MiniKids Foundation and the good people of Ofankor.
Also present at the ceremony was Mr. Tallal Fatal, President and the Secretary General of the Ghana MiniGolf and the Africa MiniGolf Federations as well as Mr. Pasi Aho from the World MiniGolf Federation.
The Open African Minigolf Championships kickstarts tomorrow July 27th at the Sports City Arena at Ridge in Accra. This championship is made possible by GMF, Coca Cola, in support with MTN, Telefonika and the Major Series of Putting (MSOP) U.S.A.
