GEC Open Golf Tournament has kicked off in an exciting fashion with “Connect Breakfast” meeting at Holiday Inn, Accra.
The event provided participants with the rare opportunity to be part of a session that sought to enlighten, connect and share expertise in the fields of golf and business.
The breakfast meeting was a prelude for the two-qualifying series of the 2018 GEC Open Golf tournaments in Ghana that begins tomorrow at the Celebrity Golf Club.
Two outstanding individuals in the fields of golf and business took turns to share answers to questions from moderator, Ruddy Kwakye as well as the audience.
Mr. George Ofosuhene, CEO, BOND Savings and Loans and Mr. Kwesi Amoafo-Yeboah, Chairman of i-Zone both made several engaging and interesting submissions.
These submissions mostly touched on the dynamics, current trends, challenges and opportunities that exist in the business and golfing circles.
They echoed that, business and golf similarly have certain diverse standards that must be followed judiciously to achieve what any individual sets out to do.
This process, they noted, requires a greater amount of consistency, learning, improving and adapting to changes and challenges to successfully stay atop in any uncertain environment.
The resource persons charged the audience to continually seek adequate information before committing to any decisions they may make.
Most participants TheGolfer Online spoke with, were thankful for the opportunity to be part of the Breakfast Connect and expressed delight at the timeliness of the session.
