However, ever since he started playing, Tony Yeboah says he has discovered that the game is a huge activity and very ideal for people of all ages.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #222222; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">When we enquired from him why many people have such perceptions about golf, he maintained that they do so because it\u2019s usually hard to explain to someone about golf because of the rules and other technical details associated with the game. <\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #222222; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Recounting the many benefits that he has personally enjoyed from playing golf, Yegoala who is considered one of the most prominent and prolific goal scorers in Ghanaian and African football history, said that playing golf has helped him to stay in shape, enhanced his business success and has exposed him to some of the most influential and prominent people in Ghanaian society.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #222222; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #222222; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">\u201cThe golf society is different, it\u2019s a first-class society,&#8221; he stated in a\u00a0 rallying call on other retired footballers to join the golfing fraternity.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #222222; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Tony Yeboah who made his name by scoring avalanche of goals whilst playing for Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany and later Leeds United in England, owns the Yegoala hotel in Kumasi and mostly offers amazing discounts to golfers during major tournaments in the Garden City.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #222222; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #222222; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Meanwhile, Tony is hopeful to win in the Men Division of the 2018 Stanbic \u2013 Otumfuo Invitational Golf Tournament which rounds off later today at the Royal Golf Club in Kumasi.
