It has been a tough first half of the year and the validation of the persistence is good. The win has motivated me to go for more glory on the Sunshine Tour,\u201d said Palmer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #222222; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Second overall was Merrick Bremner, also of South Africa, with a gross total of 16-under par with compatriots P. Moolman and T. Ryan finishing joint third on 15-under par.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #222222; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Bremner had led in day one and day three. He lost the coveted blue jacket to Palmer by two shots.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #222222; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #222222; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Martin Rohwer and Daniel van Tonder both 13 under were joint fifth. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #222222; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #222222; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Jake Roos, also a South African ended his campaign on 12-under par to finish seventh. This entailed the juniors chipping 3 balls from a set distance &#8211; from which the closest to the pin of the 3 balls hit was measured and entered as their score. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #222222; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;\">There were different distances for each age group and the results were judged per the age group: e.g. Age group 7-9yrs: 1st, 2nd, 3rd for boys and girls respectively. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #222222; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;\">A Hole in one at the KCB Karen Masters by Ryan Cairns 204 meters with a 6 iron at hole #5 made him the winner of a brand new Toyota Prado.
