He however faltered with some bogeys on day two for 77. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: black; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Georgia',serif; font-size: 14pt;\">His game clicked pretty well on round three for 73 but closed the tournament shooting 77 for a total 302 to finish 4-stroke ahead of the field. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: black; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Georgia',serif; font-size: 14pt;\">He disclosed to TheGolfer online that he went into the final round not feeling well as he endured a strain in his left leg over the 18-holes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: black; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Georgia',serif; font-size: 14pt;\">He nevertheless intimated that this victory brings him a sigh of relief after he came very close to winning the trophy last year. Kwabena Poku, last year\u2019s winner shot a total 306 (79-73-74-80) to finish in second place. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: black; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Georgia',serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Sampson Assorgbah completed the tournament on 308 (76-84-73-75) for third place while Barry Dzadey returned 310 shots for the fourth spot. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: black; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Georgia',serif; font-size: 14pt;\">When asked about his golfing exploits, Owusu-Bonsu shared some exciting moments that include playing alongside the current world no. 4 golfer, Jon Rahm during the 2014 World Amateur Championship in Japan. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: black; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Georgia',serif; font-size: 14pt;\">He also shared the stage with some of Africa\u2019s golf heavyweights in Zimbabwe at the All Africa Games last year in October. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: black; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Georgia',serif; font-size: 14pt;\">In all these, his great admirations for the current West Africa No. 1 Vincent Torgah, who he once caddied for inspires him to great length in golf.
