The Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup in Ghana has ended in an exciting fashion at the renowned Celebrity Golf Club in Sakumono. <\/span><\/p>\n

The event assembled a record number of golfers who walked the fairways and worked the greens for a chance at the enviable prize of an all-expense paid trip (business class flights) to Turkey, in the world finals. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Whiles at it, the occasion delivered great networking and a truckload of positive vibrations among the golfers and the team from Turkish Airlines. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In all, Helen Appah stayed in contention to emerge winner for the big prize of an all-expense paid trip to Turkey, in the world finals. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The affable golfer shot 37 Stableford points to stay atop the leaderboard on countback. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

En route her defining victory among a field of 130 golfers, Helen posted 3 pars and one birdie in her campaign. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt was overwhelming.\u201d Helen said, adding, \u201cI played well, however, in golf you never know what can happen.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Geoffrey Avornyotse, new Captain of the club, carded same 37 Stableford points off handicap 11 but was separated on countback for the second spot. <\/span><\/p>\n

Adelaide Owusu-Adjapong posted 36 Stableford points off handicap 11 to finish in the third spot. <\/span><\/p>\n

Relatively, Francis Akwasi Opoku delivered a stunning 79 points to win the prize for Lowest Gross. Aileen Conteh won the prize for Nearest to the Pin in the Ladies category while Jack Yang won the Men Nearest to the pin prize. <\/span><\/p>\n

Turkish Airlines presented dazzling trophies to all the winners. <\/span><\/p>\n

In a raffle draw, Teye Lartey won a business class ticket from Turkish Airlines to any preferred destination. Papa Danso took home a miniature Turkish Airline flight. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ertugrul Danaci, Sales Manager at Turkish Airlines, thanked the golfers for participating in the event. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He reiterated the commitment of the airline to organizing these competitions to provide golfers the opportunity to compete at the world stage. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
