Kwabena Poku and Margaret Oduro returned a combined net score of 76 (handicap 9) to beat Maxwell Owusu-Bonsu and Mark Asiamah (handicap 8) on countback. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Greensome is fast gaining grounds at the Royal Golf Club as golfers continue to sponsor the event as a means of getting to know each other better. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Winners of the event voluntarily agree to sponsor the next event and the third of such was held today, 21<sup>st<\/sup> September 2018 to ensure continuity of the event. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Bernard Baiden and George Ackorful, winners of the last Greensome on stableford format, had a busy day on the golf course as they managed a combined net score of 97 off handicap 17. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">In a related event, staff of CalBank who are currently training at the club, battled it out over 9-holes with their Professional coaches as partners. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Michael Eshun, playing with James Larry (Pro) returned a combined gross score of 52 to win the day. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Derek Nyarko and Effah Poku (Pro) came second with a gross score of 54 followed by Audrey Agyekum and Paul Nyarko (Pro) with 56.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">The club intends to shift its focus from Greensome to Partners (combined net score) competition on Saturday 10<sup>th<\/sup> November 2018. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">A number of golfers have expressed interest in sponsoring the non-handicap qualifier event. The Management of the club believes that the development is good and would be encouraged. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Arrangements are also advanced to play Obuasi Golf Club on Match Play.
