CalBank Ltd electrified the premier Achimota\u00a0 Golf Club with outstanding golf experience during the CalBank Classic on Saturday. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Golfers began taking turns at the tee as early as 6am to work the fairways until the game ended at about 6pm. Over 200 golfers participated in the event. <\/span><\/p>\n

The competition delivered multiples of fascinating shots, incredible putting accuracies and can\u2019t-wait-to continue excitements. <\/span><\/p>\n

Victor Oyango in the end, rolled out pleasant mix of 2 birdies, 11 pars and some bogeys to hang on to victory in the Men Group A after carding a net score of 68 off handicap 9. <\/span><\/p>\n

Victor\u2019s game plan was to stay on the fairways considering that the rough was quite thick with recent heavy rains. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ben Debrah however lurked around for a chance at the ultimate but in the end settled for the second spot on a net score of 72 of 11. <\/span><\/p>\n

Chao Peng and Christopher Mbii churned out same net score of 72 off handicap 10 and 4 respectively but were separated on countback for the third and fourth placed finish.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Litecia Amponsah-Mensah held off a tough field in the Ladies Group A to close at a net score of 70 off handicap 10.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jane N. Opoku followed in second place with a net score of 71 off handicap 18 while the evergreen Mona Captan Lamptey ended her campaign at a net score of 73 off 9 for the third position. <\/span><\/p>\n

In the Men Group B, Yaw Afriyie shot to a net score of 67 off handicap 21 to emerge winner. <\/span><\/p>\n

Kwame Boafo concluded on same net score of 67 off handicap 20 but was separated on countback for the second spot. S.K Boafo subsequently came in the third place on 67 off 21.<\/span><\/p>\n

Agnes Adams kept the momentum to take charge of the Ladies Group B with 62 off 25. <\/span><\/p>\n

Hajia Zenabu followed in second place on 69 off 29 while Pamela Atila returned 69 off 23 for the third place. <\/span><\/p>\n

John Gedze grabbed the prize for Longest Drive in the Men Group while Cynthian Donfe took home the Longest Drive in the Ladies Group.<\/span><\/p>\n

Isaac Asante clinched the prize for Closest to the Pin in the Men Group as Philisia Gossens won the Closest to the Pin in the Ladies Group.<\/span><\/p>\n

Antoinette Ollenu turned out amazing style to win the CalBank Academy Ladies while Samuel Kwame Boafo emerged winner in the CalBank Academy Men group.<\/p>\n

Butt Lamptey mesmerized the Junior field to win on a net score of 64 off handicap 24.<\/p>\n

CalBank, led by the affable Mr. Frank Adu, left no stone unturned in delivering a thrilling, top-notch and memorable event.<\/p>\n

According to Mr. Philip Owiredu (Executive Director of CalBank), the bank will continue to adequately support golf and churn out high-end Classics for golfers.<\/p>\n
