Jachere Trading Enterprise over the weekend staged an electrifying golf experience at the Ankobra Golf and Country Club in Bogoso.
Several golfers from the region drove multiples of stimulating shots, confronted the fairways and worked the greens for chances at the dazzling trophies that were up for grabs.
When the final curtains came down, Floria Hurtubise, Lady Captain of the club combined pleasant putting skills and smooth drives to win on one shot advantage in the Ladies category.
Floria finished off on 33 Stableford points off handicap 12.
Agnes Adams came second with 32 Stableford points playing off handicap 24 while Ruth Menz, Lady Captain of Nsuta Golf Club managed the third place with 31 points off 20.
Meanwhile, Elijah Dennis from Ankobra Golf Club battled a stiff field in the Men Group A (HCP 0 – 12) to emerge winner.
Dennis carded 39 Stableford points after finishing 3-under par. He played off handicap 8.
James Akwaboah from Nsuta Golf Club kept the focus and concluded his campaign off same Stableford points of 39 but was beaten on countback for second place finish. James played on handicap 4.
Sampson Gyasi from Damang Golf Club trailed third with 38 Stableford points playing off handicap 8.
In a phenomenal pattern of event, 17-year old Frank Nsor from Ankobra Golf Club in Bogoso sealed off the MEN Group B (HCP 13 – 24) with 39 Stableford points off handicap 15.
Following in second place was Craig Tandoh also from Ankobra Golf Club who returned Stableford points of 38 off handicap 14.
From Damang Golf Club, Enoch Nii Adjei ended in the third position on 36 Stableford points off handicap 13.
Floria Hurtubise and Agnes Adams won the Nearest to the Pin and Longest Drive respectively in the Ladies Divission.
In the Men Event, David Duncan from Ankobra Golf Club was the Longest Drive winner and James Akwaboah from Nsuta took the Nearest to the Pin Prize.
