It was another splendid golf day at the Ruiru Golf Club where a total of 78 golfers competed for the Monthly Mug.
P. Karoki nicknamed “PGA”, playing off handicap 13 beat them all to emerge the overall winner with the lowest gross score of 78 and a net of 65 points.
S.G Njuguna handicap 16, was the runner up scoring 66 points while third overall was Raphael Mwaura scoring 68 points.
The ladies winner was Mary Muthoni playing handicap 21 scoring 72 points.
The winner P. Karoki, shot 39 on both nines and had two birdies on hole 3 where he chipped in for a birdie 10 yards from the green and repeated a second birdie on hole 8.

P. Karoki started playing golf in 2016 and joined Ruiru sports Club in 2017.
Speaking during the Prize-Giving ceremony, he explained that what worked for him was discipline and reduced aggression, however, he had some horror holes by divorcing his driver which threw his ball deep in the woods and OB.
His future wish is to play a strong single handicap in the shortest time possible. His new handicap is 11. �=&&�2
