The impressive and challenging par 72 Ruiru Sports Club hosted a remarkable 218 golfers during the weekend.
The Tournament was well sponsored by KCB Corporate which is a renowned supporter of golf sport in Kenya sponsoring major golf events in the of whole Country .
During the Stableford competition played on September 07, 2019, KCB was well represented by Mr. James Kinga and Captain Peter Mwaura.
Githinji Itegi, HCP 20 shot 39 points to become the overall winner. The Men winner was Karanja Martin HCP 28 with 39 points. Theche Patrick HCP 14 shot 39 points to be the runner-up.
Kiragu Tabitha HCP 29 scored 39 points to beat the other ladies to become the winner of the day and was followed by S. Patel HCP 19 who shot 34 points to secure the Ladies runner-up.
KCB staff winner was Kiambi Martin HCP 17 scoring 39 points. The guest winner was Katitia Tekenet HCP 28 bringing home 41 points.
Waruingi Kenneth HCP 20 scoring 22 points won the first 9 and the back 9 went to Mbugua D.K HCP 19 who shot 23 points. Mbugua D K had a good day, equally taking the nearest to the pin medal.
Mwangi Samson won the longest Drive Men and Wambui Catherine won the Ladies longest Drive. Mwaura Veronica won the nearest to the Pin Ladies while the infamous prize of best effort went to Kamau Jimm.
