The Sports City Arena at Ridge in Accra was alive with amazing show of national pride and heritage by the many participants that graced the launch of the Coca Cola Open African MiniGolf Championships.
Beyond the display of national flags, most of the minigolfers wore clothes that depict their national heritage and persuasions.
Like a scene on the acclaimed Olympic Games opening ceremony, the various nationals filed past the podium hoisting their national flags, danced to authentic African drums and responded to the cheers of spectators and patrons that gathered on the evening.
In a typical millennials fashion, these minigolfers savored the moment while they smiled, posed, stared or in some cases graced our cameras unknowingly.
This championship is made possible by GMF, Coca Cola, in support with MTN, Telefonika and the Major Series of Putting (MSOP) U.S.A.
