Captain of the Professional Golf Association in Ghana, John Mawuli organized a memorial golf tournament in honor of his mother Beatrice Mawuli Nyarko at the Celebrity Golf Club about two weeks ago.
Yoku Korsah held off the Men’s Group to win on a net score of 67 off handicap 19. Randy Adu-Gyamfi followed in the second place on a net score of 68 off handicap 19 while E.K Ocansey captured the third spot on a net score of 69 off handicap 7.
In the Ladies Group, Jenny Hong Le delightfully took charge of her game to return a net score of 68 off handicap 24 to finish first.
Gladys Awuni stayed in the mix to secure the second place on a net score of 71 off handicap 23 while Catherine Fabbi shot a net score of 76 off handicap 19 for a third-place finish.
In the Pros division, L. A Ayisah delivered a seamless 5-under 66 to finish atop the leaderboard. Kojo Barni and Godwin Sai both shot 1-under 70 for a tie in the second place.
Victor Brave-Mensah shot 74 to win the in Pros Seniors category.
