The much-revered MTN Invitational made a stop at the Bok Nam Kim Golf Course and in the process produced some incredible results and great fun.
Eric Ofosu-Hene stayed in contention to vault into the first position in the Men Category A. Eric took charge of his game and managed the course to finish at 38 points off handicap 12 after edging into second position Peter Ntiamoah who ended his campaign at 35 points off same handicap of 12.
Nana Krakue delivered some jaw-dropping approach shots coupled with exciting mastery of the greens but that was not enough to upset the field and he proceeded to clinch the prize for the third position.
Nana churned out 35 points off handicap 10.
In the Men Category B, Victor Sarpong finished in the first place with 42 points playing off handicap 23 while Justice Martey shot 36 points off handicap 24 for a second place finish.
Michael Agbodzah delivered 35 points off handicap 17 to occupy the third spot.
In the Ladies Category, Leticia Amponsah-Mensah mesmerised the field to win with a convincing 36 points off handicap 10 while Marlene Tonyigah stayed in the mix to follow in second place after shooting 36 points off handicap 24.
Elizabeth Essel-Koomson shot 35 points off handicap 18 to end the day in the third place.
In his speech, MR. FELIX ADDO – MTN BOARD MEMBER, reminded the golfers about the SIM re-registration exercise which has started and urged all customers to ensure that their sim cards are duly registered. He further congratulated all the winners of the tournament for their demonstration of resilience and tenacity.
