The MTN Invitational Sterling Edition has ended successfully at the Achimota Golf Club where Christopher Mbii finished as the Tiger in the Woods in the Men’s Silver Group following his sterling performance of returning 41 points off handicap 2.
Christopher won on countback after beating Church Ansah who ended is campaign with 41 points off handicap 4 while Mawuli Ababio followed in the third place with 40 points off handicap 10.
Meanwhile in the Ladies Group, newcomer Alberta Lomofio stayed atop the leaderboard after shooting 45 points off handicap 31. Jiang Yang stayed in contention to secure the second position with 39 points off handicap 29 while Rita Pellegrino maintained third position after recording 38 points off handicap 19.
The battle for the ultimate winner in the Men’s Bronze Group was decided on countback after all three names on top of the leaderboard delivered 40 points apiece.
In the end Max Prah came atop with 40 points off handicap 24 while Gustave Godonou followed in second position with 40 points off handicap 20. Masina Pascal finished in third place after shooting 40 points off handicap 18.
Kwesi Senyi won the Men’s Seniors with 41 points and Joy Arkutu took the Ladies Seniors with 35 points.
