Golfer Lawrence Nganga playing off handicap 21 won the Samuel Njinu Tournament with 36 points over the weekend, the lowest score this year at the tough par 72 course of Ruiru Sports Club in Kenya.
He beat men’s previous winner Frank Munyuah and Alex Machocho on count back.
Irene Wamoro led the ladies with 32points winning ahead of Margret Kamau (24)and Ruth Muthoni (23). The nines were won by Samson Mwongela and George Ndungu with 20points respectively.. The guest winner was Caroline Muthiga with 35points.
