The recent Pink Golf Tournament at the premier Achimota Golf Club produced medley of fun and great golfing.
Alain Vignard churned out impressive drives and putting accuracy to win in the Men Group A. Alain shot 38 points off handicap 10 to stay atop the leaderboard.
Elisee Sezan made some impressive incursions along the way but eventually settled for the second spot after carding 37 points off handicap 9. Kwaku Asare Ofosuhene stayed in contention to finish third on 37 points off handicap 11.
Meanwhile, Vastie Amoafo-Yeboah took charge of the field to vault into first place in the Ladies Group A with 36 points off handicap 16.
Vastie edged into second place Floria Hurtubise, who just returned to the game after a 7-month maternity absence. Floria shot 34 points off handicap 10.
Suzanne Butah churned out 33 points off handicap 19 to clinch the third spot.
In the Men Group B, Ross Hann delivered 43 points off handicap 18 for a first-place finish while James Sowah ended the day with 41 points off handicap 14. E.K Bonsu finished third on same 41 points off handicap 15 but was separated on countback.
Konadu Agyemang shot 40 points off handicap 34 to finish atop in the Ladies Group B after edging into second place Lu Thi Kimthao who recorded 37 points off handicap 22. Sandy Ehrenreich ended in the third spot with 36 points off handicap 28.
Men’s Closest to the Pin prize was grabbed by Geofff Grant while Julia Watson took home the prize for the Ladies Closest to the Pin.
Kwaku Asare Ofosuhene clinched the Men’s Longest Drive prize with Suzanne Butah for the Ladies’ Longest Drive prize.
