Ruiru Sports Club started Juniors Clinics during the Schools Holidays and this attracted a lot of children of different ages.
The local Pro Steve Karanja who heads the coaching said he was very happy to see juniors with talent attend the clinic and could hit the balls well.
He said the best training for golfers is when they are trained at younger ages as it was easy for them to learn the swing. He said his dream is to see him produce a Junior’s team to play in National level.
This was the first and a second one will be underway when schools are on recess. On finishing the week-long training, the kids are issued with certificates of attendance.
