The impressive and challenging par 72 Thika Greens Golf Resort golf course hosted the Mt. Kenya Golf challenge on the weekend and golfers had a very exciting day playing their game in a very serene atmosphere as most players confided after the game.
The players were also impressed by the greens which are in top form. However, water hazards, huge bunkers were a major challenge to the first-time players on that course but for the avid golfers it was game as usual.
The course is one of the newest and best maintained courses that nestle in well design location only 45 minutes’ drive from the busy capital city of Kenya, Nairobi. The course is said to be one among many which is built in an environment where indigenous trees are plenty making it a spectacular scenery.
Isaac Ndichu H/C 26 was the overall winner after he played 42 points. Julius Kibe H/C 14 was the Men winner playing 41 points and Ronald Meru H/C 22 the R/up playing 39 points.
