Mr. Kwesi Amoafo-Yeboah, chairman of i-Zone Limited has echoed that golf can immensely help anybody in their career and pursuit of excellence.
“Whether you are an executive, entrepreneur or wherever you are in your trajectory, golf can do wonders for your career. ” He said.
Mr. Amoafo-Yeboah made the call in a video message to rally interest for the upcoming GEC Open Ghana Golf tournament at the Celebrity Golf Club in Sakomono.
The avid and passionate golfer further noted that golf presents immeasurable opportunities for people who associate with the game.
He confided that he started his own business on the golf course through a chance meeting with someone who would eventually become a good friend.
That company they started is now i-Zone.
The GEC tournament is launched with a GEC Connect Breakfast meeting on Friday August 24 at the Holiday Inn. The celebrated business man therefore encouraged others to attend the breakfast meeting to experience what golf is about and how it can benefit them.
The breakfast meeting also features Mr. George Ofosuhene the CEO of BOND Savings & Loans. Limited.
The first leg of the main tournament begins on Saturday August 25 at the Celebrity Golf Club in Sakomono and the second leg is at the Royal Golf Club, Kumasi on September 8.
Two winners from each of the qualifying rounds will get a once in a lifetime opportunity to represent their national colors at the GEC Open World Final – Dubai Corporate Golf World Cup (DCGWC).
