Papa Krem’s Pizza Golf Tournament Delivers a Slice of Fun and Fierce Competition at Achimota Golf Club

The greens of the prestigious Achimota Golf Club came alive over the weekend as golf lovers gathered for the much-anticipated Papa Krem’s Pizza Golf Tournament—a vibrant celebration where friendly rivalry met delicious rewards.

With clear skies and near-perfect conditions, both seasoned golfers and rising stars turned out in style, competing across Men’s and Ladies’ divisions in what proved to be a thrilling contest.

In the Men’s division, Larry ODonkor stole the show with a phenomenal round, racking up 46 stableford points off a 24 handicap to claim first place.

 

Following closely was George Addo-Larbi, who carded 39 points on a 20 handicap, earning a solid second-place finish. Dean Du Toit matched the score with 39 points, but with a lower handicap of 17, he secured third place on countback.

Over in the Ladies’ division, Yaba Ehomah delivered a stellar performance, scoring 43 points on a 32 handicap to take first place in commanding fashion.

Adwoa Asare Asamoah followed with 39 points off a 27 handicap, securing second place, while Clara Price also posted 39 points, but her 25 handicap and a faltering back nine saw her take third place on countback.

The action didn’t end there—several standout players claimed special prizes in the auxiliary categories:
Longest Drive (Men): Ayuub Ghandour
Longest Drive (Ladies): Phinda Mohlala
Closest to the Pin (Men): Jojo Ampadu
Closest to the Pin (Ladies): Yaba Ehomah

As the final putts dropped, players were treated to a feast of Papa Krem’s signature pizzas, a variety of delicious dishes, and refreshing cocktails, creating the perfect atmosphere to unwind, reflect, and toast to a day well spent on the fairways.
