Successful Launch Of thegolferonline.com

Captain of the premier Achimota Golf Club, Mr. Mark Cofie Jnr has launched the “thegolferonline.com” at a private event organized by The Bureau(GH) Ltd at the Executive Lounge of the club.
The new online portal will spearhead the interest of golf in the country by way of creating a central news avenue for all the golf news, tit bits, articles, practice, golf events, live updates, rules and promotions.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Cofie expressed great admiration to The Bureau(GH) Ltd for their immense interest in golf publication. He recounted the impact the erstwhile The Golfer newspaper made in the golfing fraternity and expressed the hope that the new “thegolferonline” will continue to churn out great golf news and articles.
According to Mr. Collins Kofi Oppong, Communications Director of The Bureau(GH) who doubles as the Managing Editor of the new “thegolferonline.com”, “the golf website is committed to maintain professional and high standard golf reportage.” He continued that, they will engage both professional and amateur golfers to contribute with golf stories, articles, practice, and tit-bits.
He was of full of praise to Tullow Oil and corporate Ghana in general for their continued interest in golf development in the country and expressed the desire that his outfit will use their online platform to generate further interest in the game.
The occasion was also used to premier the maiden Bureau Business Lounge; a cocktail event that brought together partners and friends of The Bureau as well as other young entrepreneurs to interact, network and tap into opportunities that may exist within their collective fraternity. The event saw guests snack on hors d’oeuvres and imbibed on great cocktails while chatting with other guests.
